What age range is the equipment suitable for?

Our equipment is suitable for ages 12 months to 5 years. 

Are you insured?

Yes, Cheeky Monkeys Party Hire is fully insured.

How do I know the party hire items are clean?

As we have 2 young children of our own ensuring all items are cleaned and safe is always our number 1 priority. We have a thorough pre and post hire checking system and a strict cleaning reigned that is undertaken between each hire to ensure all our equipment is of the highest standard.  If you not be happy with the condition of an item upon delivery please advise us immediately 


How long is the hire period?

The hire period is for 4 hours, excluding set up and pack down time.


Do we have to pick the items up or do you offer delivery?

We offer delivery (Edmonton to Palm Cove), set up and collection with each and every party package on our website. If you are hiring an individual item and is under the value of $150 delivery charges do apply.


Do you deliver outside of the Cairns area?

Please feel free to contact us if you would like to hire a party package in Gordonvale or Atherton Tablelands region and we can give you a quote for delivery, set up and collection.


Am I required to clean the items before collection?

The hire items are to be returned in the same condition to which they were hired/collected. With cleaning the items warm soapy water is recommended. Please ensure that you do not use any bleaching agents as they will discolour/fade the items & you may be responsible for their replacement

Where can I set up ball pits, toys and equipment?

It's important to consider sun safety when choosing a location for 'set up'. If the items are in the sun they may become hot & won't be suitable for play. We recommend setting up in a shaded area or undercover eg. under a patio area, marquee or inside.


What payment methods do you offer?

We accept direct deposit (payment must be cleared before collection/delivery of items) Eftpos/Credit Card facilities are not available.


Do I have to pay a bond?

Yes, a $100 bond is payable. This will be returned to you in full (via an online funds transfer), once all items have been returned/ or collected at the scheduled time and all items are in a satisfactory condition as per the hire terms and conditions.


What’s required to make a hire booking?

To secure your booking we require the hire bond ($100) to be paid. Your booking is not confirmed until this deposit is paid. Send us an email with the items you're interested in and we can prepare a quote or booking invoice for you.


What are your opening hours?

We have no fixed business hours and are contactable via email, phone or facebook messenger. We endeavour to get back to all enquiries in a timely manner.


Is it expensive to hire?

Not at all. The hire fee is only a fraction of the cost of the items. We understand the financial pressures of planning kids birthday parties and aim to keep our prices affordable. Our party packages offer a great range and value for money. Keep in mind our prices reflect the high insurance premiums, the hours of cleaning equipment, the cost of travelling back and forth to your home and our time setting up and packing down. 


Will you supervise the play space?

Cheeky Monkeys Party Hire offers hire only for toddler toys and equipment. We deliver pre party, set up & collect post party however you, the hirer, are responsible for the supervision of the items and play space and ensure all equipment is being used in a safe manner.
